Overview of Project

Seamless Merchandise is an Australian company dealing in promotional products and corporate catalogue programs. They have a wide range of customisable product options available at the click of a button. The client came back to IndiaNIC with a futuristic plan for his business and wanted to get an increased number of inquiries on his website to grow the business even more.

Our Task

The website was designed and developed a long time ago and lacked in terms of functionality, design and user experience. The challenge was to address the extensiveness of the platform which had an array of promotional products and corporate categories and showcase them in a modern and appealing way. The older website which is clearly outdated, needed to be scraped off and replaced with a newly designed and highly intuitive version.

Design Conceptualization

Our team of expert UI/UX designers and business analysts took the challenge head on and outlined the problems with the existing platform. First our BA team figured out the new features and functionality that needed to be updated. After heavy brainstorming sessions with the client we laid out the changes that were inevitable with the help of wireframing.

Visual Design

Next we moved on to enhancing the theme, look and feel of the website. The older version was so old that a whole new design outlook was needed when choosing the website layout and themes. To make it aesthetically pleasing we went with a mix of minimal yet bold colour schemes of black, purple and white throughout the website. We changed the typography for it to become more readable and eye catchy.

To create brand awareness and elevate product branding, illustrations and visual content was used at as many places as possible. We even added more landing pages for SEO purpose. Call to action buttons were introduced to invite users to make an enquiry. Everybody knows videos are a great way to showcase your services and how impactful it can be. We used this fact to the advantage along with the beautifully designed UI across the platform.

The Final Takeaway

After re-designing the entire website and making it pixel perfect from every aspect, the challenge was to integrate the new design with the older technology that it was developed in. We used Vtiger CRM, a popular platform for ensuring marketing ROI along with Zend Framework as a third-party coordinator. As far as the new design was concerned, it was in touch with the clients business goals.
