To encourage a healthy lifestyle amongst UAE Nationals by Daman Insurance, we shook hands with UAE’s the most trusted insurance company. We developed a marketplace app platform for health, fitness and recreational activities.

Project Brief

Daman is one of the reputed insurance companies in Abu Dhabi, UAE, that offers health insurance services to individuals, families, small and large scale businesses. The idea was to promote the healthcare and wellness awareness services by the implementation of a multi-vendor marketplace platform that consumers can use as a one-stop-solution.

The Problem

To create a marketplace of service providers in the domain of health, fitness and recreational activity.

The client wanted to come up with a solution where customers and various healthcare, fitness, and wellness services providers can collaborate and render services. They wanted categorization like Gym classes, day passes, etc. for users those who are willing to avail certain health-related training sessions under expert guidance. The main vision was to bring awareness amongst those who are unknown to the importance of it and to improve the wellbeing of people who are already active. It was also important to implement the real-time statistics and data analytics tool to give insights about the activities in various categories.

Our Strategy

IndiaNIC’s expert consultants helped the client for conceptualizing the whole roadmap by capturing detailed blueprint by visiting them in person in UAE and spending couple of weeks with their team at Abu Dhabi. A thorough process of graphical illustration was portrayed to the client for the overall understanding of the development process and product expected. Our development team carried out a feasibility test where they came up with detailed development requirements. This was performed to deploy efficient methodology to minimize the cost and time for marketplace app development. The platform that was defined with backend for service providers which was built with the latest Magento version. The front-end of the application was developed using the React framework.
